Luke Henderson

Senior Pastor

Pastor Luke Henderson, along with his wife Dawn, has been serving the Wagoner community since January 2024. With a deep commitment to caring for the hurting and disadvantaged, Pastor Luke has dedicated his life to ministry and outreach. Before coming to Wagoner, he served as an associate pastor at Dawson FWB Church for 2.5 years while Dawn directed the children’s ministry. Together, they launched and directed the Reformers Unanimous Addiction Recovery program in Grove, demonstrating their passion for helping those in need.

Currently, Pastor Luke spearheads the “Send the Light Global Initiative,” a mentorship and teaching ministry that empowers believers for service within the global church community. His efforts reached across continents when he hosted a teaching conference in Kenya in January 2024 and later planted Hope Baptist Church in Usao Village by December. Partnering with local church planters, he also helped establish the Beacon of Hope Academy in January 2025, which now educates approximately 60 children, providing them with new opportunities for a brighter future.

As vice president of the Wagoner Ministerial Alliance, Pastor Luke plays a crucial role in orchestrating outreach events, reflecting his dedication to community engagement and support. His wife Dawn, a former missionary to Vietnam with a BA in cross-cultural communications from Randall University, complements his work with her expertise and heart for service. Together, they are raising their four children, Caana, Micah, Eden, and Adalae.
